To begin with, we encountered a step, and upon further inspection, we discovered that the other door had a larger step. Subsequently, we located a portable ramp to gain entry; however, the customer needs to be inside to retrieve the portable ramp, and there is no means of alerting them to our presence to request assistance. This situation is manageable if accompanied by someone capable of assisting, but it poses a significant challenge for individuals who are alone.
It is commendable that they do not object to my having an assistance dog, and they thoughtfully provide bowls of water if needed.
Upon departing, we encountered another obstacle, as the entrance/exit door had a step before reaching the portable ramp. Consequently, we had to position the portable ramp in a see-saw manner to enable me to ascend the step, and then we had to rock the ramp to descend. This is not the ideal usage of the ramp and could potentially be unsafe for certain users[food]
