A A wonderful family day out. The location is filled with sights, sounds, and tastes of 20th-century life in the Black Country. There are many activities and things to explore, including a 1912 school lesson, trying 1930s recipes, playing old-fashioned street games, listening to 1950s music, and much more.
The majority of the museum is wheelchair accessible. Some shops have steps, but there are portable ramps on site and very helpful staff
Most paths are even, with the exception of one old-fashioned cobbled road.
Disabled toilets and changing rooms are available.
Free, spacious car parking is available for blue badge holders (a free token must be obtained from the reception to exit the car park). Only assistance dogs are permitted.
