Description: The paths to the castle are very steep and uneven, making it inaccessible for wheelchair users.
 It is a beautiful and historic place with stunning views of the River Wye. Some paths are even, while others are bumpy and cobbled, but all of them are very steep. It was challenging to navigate, especially downhill, even in a power chair.
 We required assistance descending from the Great Tower as the chair was sliding and losing traction. However, wheelchair users are permitted entry, and the castle’s ground floor is accessible if you are prepared to ascend and descend the steep hill.
**Carer tickets are complimentary.**
 Free disabled parking and restrooms are available at the car park. Dogs are permitted on leads on the ground floor.
