Description: Visited Here, and I must admit I am a bit biased because I adore it here. It is very accessible as it has established level paths, although they are not concrete but rather established woodland paths. The route we took was all level entry and wheelchair accessible. They do have a mobility scooter available for hire, although I am unsure what proof of disability you are required to provide, and it is on a first-come, first-served basis.
They have a lovely cafe with spacious outdoor seating, and if you do not find the prices to your liking, you are welcome to bring a picnic and, if you wish, indulge in a delightful ice cream.
They do have an accessible toilet, but I did not use it, so I am unable to comment on its facilities or layout.
It is a wonderful place to walk dogs as you can let them off the lead, but they are not allowed in the lake. In the cafe area, dogs are expected to be on a lead and under control. There is a dog wash station at the entrance if you prefer not to put a muddy dog in your car.
They now have a few adapted picnic tables that can accommodate a wheelchair. It is wonderful to feel included.
