Description: We recently explored another section of the canal, specifically the path by Stroudwater Navigation Canal that passes through the heart of Stroud town. We conveniently parked our car near the canal visitor’s center in Stroud, accessed the path from there, and proceeded towards Saul Junction.

The initial part of the path had a noticeable incline and a small curb to navigate, but once we were on the main path, it became pleasantly flat, quite wide, and mostly even, with only a few small puddles along the way. It was a delightful experience to observe kingfishers and herons during our walk.

Furthermore, the path is conveniently situated near Five Valleys shopping center, which offers disabled-accessible restrooms and a car park. Additionally, the high street, with its diverse selection of shops, pubs, and cafes, is also within easy reach.
