Description: The ship is fully wheelchair accessible and has disabled toilets on board. Brilliant experience, it all felt so real. There are a few lifts on board and one of them was a bit tricky to maneuver in a long power chair – it was necessary to park on the right angle to be able to go out on the next floor. The lift doors were also quite heavy to push.

Temporary restricted lift access
They are currently unable to guarantee step-free access to all three decks of the ship. While both museums and the dry dock remain fully accessible at all levels, step-free access can only be guaranteed to the two interior decks on the ship. One of the lifts on the ship is undergoing essential maintenance, therefore step-free access to the top deck will only be possible once this is repaired and tested. All other areas remain fully accessible Due to the nature of the site some areas may be difficult to reach, or may involve cobblestones, so where possible alternative access points are provided.  Sensory SessionsThese Calm Sensory Sessions have been designed as a series of events for children who benefit from visiting at a time when there is a calmer background sensory environment (for example, some autistic children and neurodiverse families.)
