Description: Most of the aisles were obstructed by abandoned products or trolleys, making it challenging for me to maneuver my wheelchair. Despite my visible struggles, the few staff members present did not offer assistance or attempt to clear the obstacles.
What surprised me the most was the attitude of the staff. The cashier did not acknowledge or make eye contact with me during the entire transaction. When I indicated that I couldn’t reach the payment machine, he reluctantly moved the terminal towards me without addressing me directly.
While the disability parking spaces were adequate, it is evident that disability awareness training for the staff is urgently needed.[food]
